I forgot to mention that last Saturday when I was in Dublin for the Cirque du Soleil show, I also brought with me a little piece that I have for a while to the Royal Hibernian Academy. The Academy is hosting an “open submission” exhibition later in the year, so, fingers crossed, “Standing Tall” will be considered…!
Dates have finally been confirmed for my solo exhibition in the new gallery on Valentia Island, open by the Killarney Art Gallery…Saturday June 6th is the opening date, and I should have approximately 20 new paintings to show…
The new gallery will open officially on the 16th of May with a group exhibition which I am also part of, and is located right at the waterfront in Knightstown, overlooking the newly built marina, and I would certainly advise anyone who havent’t been on the island yet to make the trip, it is absolutely breath taking. So why not kill 2 birds with one stone in early June…
