Hosted in the Mon , (Monastery National School)  it’s a very handy location for moms and dads to do a little shopping in town or go for a walk in the National Park while your little artist is busy crafting.

The workshop is happening on Sunday, February  8th, from 11 to 1pm.

A WORD ABOUT ME!

As some of you will know, I am an artist and owner of a jewellery business living in Killarney for over 20 years. In this time I have been teaching art classes at night in the Community College for 14 years, have held several arts&crafts workshops in schools, nursing homes and in special needs day centres. I am also working full time as an SNA.

In 2018 I also started to run an after school Art Club in Holy Cross Mercy, which was very popular and evolved in different seasonal workshops and summer camps!

As a mother myself, I totally understand that you want to leave your child with a trustworthy and dependable adult! I am a mom of two young boys aged 10 and 12 who will also be part of the camp and have been great little assistants.

We are looking forward to meet all the young creative people!

✨The summer camp is now full!✨

Dear Parent...!

I am super excited to be planning a sparkly summer camp for the creative boys and girls aged 7-10 in the Killarney area, hosted in Presentation Monastery National School.

If your child loves to draw, paint, cut, glue and get their fingers messy while using their imagination, this might be the perfect week for them...!

The Paint and ✨Sparkle Art Camp will be from 9:00am in the morning until 12:00 lunchtime for five days.

Time: 9:00am-12:00am

Ages: 7-10

Cost: €75 for all five days - cost includes all supplies.

* The children will need to bring a snack or mini-lunch with them along with a beverage.

Here is what our daily schedule will look like!: 
9:00-9:30 - Free Draw/Colouring /Introducing the theme of the day 
9:30-10:30 - Craft Creation: we will craft up a lovely creation related to our daily theme.
10:45-11:00 - Mini Lunch & a Time to play outside, weather permitting!
11:00-12:00 - Artwork Creation: the children will create some artwork related to our daily theme.
OUR LOCATION

We are very lucky this year to be able to use the Mon as our camp « home »! The Presentation Monastery National School is located on New Road in Killarney.

CLOTHING

Your child will be immersed in an art-making camp experience, using materials in a safe and creative manner. Aprons will be provided, but remember that clothes can still get a little splash of glue or paint...! A light jacket is also a good idea depending on the weather, as we will try and get some fresh air outside for a few minutes...

PAYMENT

Payment will be taken in full on the first day of the camp.
